Tattoo Artist Application

WE HAVE VERY EXCITING NEWS!

We’re Hiring!

Bleed and Bloom Tattoo in Eau Claire WI is hiring for a new tattoo artist and/or and apprentice!

( Located at 303 Main St, Eau Claire, WI )

This is our first step in starting a tattoo collective and an exciting piece in our journey and mission to create a queer/minority-safe space and community within Eau Claire and the tattoo industry. We are growing! And we are looking for another artist(s) to come be a part of our growth.

This is also an apprenticeship opportunity. If you are seeking an apprenticeship please fill out the Apprenticeship Application instead of the Tattoo Artist Application below.

What we offer For Tattoo artists:

  • Competitive rent ($500m, and split costs on supplies evenly)

  • Small, beautiful studio with a gothic and whimsical night-garden aesthetic.

  • Downtown street facing location with foot traffic

  • Professional photo setup for your tattoos (I can teach you how to use it!)

  • Setting where you can tattoo privately but still be in community with other artists and still have walk-in opportunities

  • Safe space for queers and minorities with opportunities to learn and grow together as artists

What we offer for an apprenticeship:

  • The same beautiful space to work, learn and practice in and eventually be a part of as a tattoo artist in the collective

  • a place to feature your own artwork to sell while you apprentice and a way to make a little cash

  • an apprenticeship focused on learning with independence and self-discipline at your own pace.

  • no hazing, initiation rituals, labor abuse or requirement for payment in order to be taught. (other than a very small amount of rent once you start utilizing the studio to tattoo out of, and a request that you run the booth on Fridays for art markets in trade for the apprenticeship)

  • a beautiful and fair place to work once you graduate, that gives you control over your life, your art and your prices.

This is the start of a Collective and not a traditional shop! This, in combination with the businesses values and mission, means we are going to be very thoughtful in the artist we choose. This is not a situation where we are limiting hiring to a queer or minority artist, we simply wish to hire someone who is devoted to contributing to our safe space in a meaningful and honest way and who wants to be a part of what we are growing.
