This is an independently owned studio ran by Gitta Mikk who goes by she/they pronouns and is proudly Pansexual and Polyamorous.

The entire LGBTQIA community is welcome here. As a queer individual herself, Gitta Mikk places a lot of importance on making the queer community feel welcome here! We welcome all and any gender identities and sexualities. You don’t need to explain yourself or worry about judgement.

We are sensitive to your needs! We are also informed about trauma and other neuro-divergence and can work with you if you have any special requests or even special ideas revolving around your unique experience of life. We keep a bag of various fidgets and sensory toys on hand and will tailor the music, lighting and other aspects of the tattoo experience to your unique needs.

We understand we can’t declare ourselves a “safe” place, because that is only something that can be determined and decided by you. But we work to educate ourselves and others on the ways racism exists in the tattoo industry, as well as the practices of tattooing skin that is not white. It is important to us that we continually fight back against racism in the industry and in general. As tattoo artists in this shop we are teaching all of our apprentices the true history of tattooing including its actual origins which are mainly indigenous as well as the differences of tattooing and designing for darker skin tones.

We understand not everyone feels totally comfortable in a traditional tattoo setting. We hope to make sure you feel totally accepted and we love all bodies of all shapes sizes, ages (18+) and colors. This extends to people with skin disorders and connective tissue disorders and immune deficiencies and any differently-abled bodied individuals as well.
